Nicole Scutt's Obituary
Nicole R. Scutt, affectionately known as Nicki, formerly of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at home in Doral, FL per her desire.
She was born on May 17, 1933, and celebrated her 90th birthday this year, surrounded by her family and dearest friends. She was the daughter of Marie-Marthe and Albert Reiher, and sister of Michelle Villard, Claude Reiher and Jaqueline Verna; She completed her formal education in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and later studied Cosmotology in France; In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frantz Scutt, all of her siblings and most recently, her first-born son, Jacques Deschamps, fils. She leaves behind her sons, Claude Deschamps, Dereck Scutt, step-daughter, Michelle Scutt Zangre and her grandchildren George Edouard Deschamps, Veronica Deschamps , Yuri Scutt, Yanique Scutt, step-granddaughter, Kimberly Reischel, great-grandchildren Nahla and Ferruccio Deschamps, Hans and Ela Plaisimond, step-great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Jaxson Reischel.
Nicole had a great passion for life, her family and friends, cooking, art and flowers; she gathered them close to her as often as she could. She will be sorely missed.
A Catholic service will be held at Van Orsdel Funeral Services on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1pm, with a gathering of family and friends to follow immediately in order to celebrate a life well lived.
