Nicholas J. Zyne's Obituary
Nicholas Joseph Zyne, 67, of Miami, Florida passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, surrounded by his close family. Born on September 27, 1957, in Miami, Florida, to George and Latife Zyne. Nicholas attended Florida International University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Nicholas retired from the U.S. Postal Service Administration in 2018. Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his family, and fishing with family and friends in Marathon, Florida Keys where he owned a timeshare. He was very successful in equity and property investing. He will be remembered for his steadfast kindest and unwavering sense of humor.
Nicholas’ passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We will remember Nicholas’ kind heart and the zest that he had for life. He left a profound impact on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Although Nicholas’ physical presence may no longer grace or lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forward his legacy of love, compassion, and helpfulness in all that we do.
Nicholas is survived by his two brothers, Alexander (Lori), Charles (Beatriz), and his sister, Georgette Stein (Barry), nieces, Vanessa Severe (Michael), Charlsey Zyne, nephew Jonathan Zyne (Noemi), grandnieces, Lucy, Isla, and Ellie, his aunt, Tabte Habib, cousins, Jamal Habib, and Cathy Ruff. He is preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, George Habib.
A celebration of life will be held on September 9, 2025, at Van Orsdel Funeral Home (Kendall) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
