Nicholas Peter Romanik's Obituary
Nicholas Peter Romanik, 48, of Miami, Florida passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2025, after a long and hard-fought battle with cardiovascular disease. Born in Miami, Florida, on September 24, 1976, Nicholas graduated from Palmetto Senior High School and attended Miami Dade College before finding his niche working as a chef for various fine dining establishments and eateries across suburban and downtown Miami. Nicholas always showed dedication and focus to the task at hand, maintaining a high standard for himself and those around him, which helped him become a cornerstone in many of the restaurants where he worked. Nicholas was preceded in peace by his mother, Nancy Romanik and his father, Robert (Bob) Romanik. His warmhearted spirit is carried on by his sister Gina Mejia, and her husband, Juan; his brother, Robert Romanik; and his nephews, Joshua and Matthew. He was always there for his family, a steadfast presence for the people he cared so much about. Whether it was attending school recitals, little league sports events, or simply helping with the daily school carpool schedule, he was always ready to offer his support and encouragement. Nicholas’ caring nature, affable personality, and quiet strength will be cherished and deeply missed by all those who loved him.
