Nicholas Booras' Obituary
BOORAS
Nicholas T. 87, died 11-18-2011. A native Miamian, he was the son of Thomas N. and Mary D. Booras, pioneer Miamians. A Member of world-famous Greater Miami Boy’s Drum and Bugle Corps. Following service with the U.S. Navy in the Asiatic/Pacific Theater during WWII, he joined National Airlines. During his employment, he was listed in Who’s Who in World Wide Aviation. Present and former memberships include: American Legion Post # 29, National Chief Petty Officers Association, National Aviation Club of Washington D.C. Funeral Services were held at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assn.
