NESTOR ROMERO's Obituary
Heaven was graced with the presence of a precious soul when Nestor Romero passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida days after turning 83 years old.
Nestor was preceded in death by his younger brother Tony Romero. He will also be missed by his dearest nieces Ana Maria Romero-Diaz, Esther Romero and Lineth Fernandez.
Nestor was the oldest son of the late Lazaro Romero and Esther Aloma, he was born in Havana, Cuba on November 6, 1939, and at a young age he moved to Chicago with both his parents and his brother in 1956.
In the early ’60s, the Romero family opened a successful business in the heart of Miami where Nestor worked alongside his beloved family for nearly 30 years.
Nestor lived an extraordinary life; he was a world traveler and a lover of the arts. He was an avid moviegoer and enjoyed watching operas and classical musicals.
His legacy of love, patience, kindness, and humility will live on forever.
The Romero family will receive guests Wednesday, November 16, from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Van Orsdel Coral Gables 4600 SW 8th Street Coral Gables, FL 33114. The burial will start at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Park North 3260 SW 8 Street Miami, FL 33135.
