Nereida Hernandez's Obituary
Nereida Hernandez of Miami, Florida, went to heaven on November 10th, 2021. She was born in Sabanilla del Encomendador in the municipality of Union de Reyes, in the Province of Matanzas, in the country of Cuba, on August 17, 1930. She worked in Cuba at a hosiery factory and later as the housemaid for doctors. She moved to New York City in the late 1950s and worked cleaning offices. She then moved to Miami in the late 1970s where she resided until the 2000s. She moved to Marco Island where she lived until 2020 before moving back to Miami, Florida.
Nereida loved to travel and was known for being very compassionate and affectionate. She is survived by her children, Jane Hernandez-Ing, Maureen Hernandez, Mario Hernandez, and Marvin Hernandez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan Ing, Christopher Ing, Ileana Ing, Jeffrey Hernandez, Luna Hernandez, and Sol Hernandez.
