Nereida Alonso Garrido, 86, of Miami, Florida passed away on June 21, 2018.
She was born in Los Palacios, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba on March 3, 1932.
Nereida is survived by her husband, Luis, her daughter, Caridad, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters.
She was married to Luis, her husband for 61 years.
Nereida was adored by her family and will be deeply missed. Her strength and capacity for love where beyond measure. She was a gifted seamstress and a master of her craft. She was a deeply beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her passing leaves a large hole in the hearts of those who loved her but her legacy lives on in her family.
