Nancy Ellen Barrett's Obituary
Nancy Ellen Barrett of Homestead Florida, formally of North Branford Connecticut passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2019. She was born to John & Helen Barrett in New Haven, Connecticut on July 13, 1949. She was pre-deceased by her parents, John & Helen Barrett and her brother and sister-in law, Paul & Mary Anne Barrett.
Nancy Leaves behind a brother, James (Patricia) Barrett of North Branford, CT and her sister, Susan Barrett of Florida. She had 6 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
Nancy worked for the FBI and the Miami Dade Police Department until her retirement in 2016.
She was an avid animal lover, always working with rescue organizations.
A private family burial service at the Eternal Reef in Sarasota, Florida will be performed at the family's discretion.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Best Friends animal society or ASPCA.
