Melvin Randall Sharpe's Obituary
Melving Sharpe, a beloved brother, father figure, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, at the age of 56. Born a Native to Homestead and Naranja, FL, Melvin dedicated his life to his family, his community, and his work which consisted of graduation from Miami South Ridge Senior High, a stellar career in the U.S. Army as a drill sergeant, leading 20 person infantry team,s in addition to fulfilling a 30-year career as a law enforcement officer, sergeant of The State of Florida corrections. Melvin supported all levels of higher education, including an impeccable reputation as a firearms instructor. He was an avid fisherman, teacher, role model, and friend. Melvin Sharpe was born to late parents of Joseph Sharpe and Rose Ellen Sharpe. He is succeeded by his siblings: Fredrick Sharpe, John Sharpe, Anthony Sharpe, Attaluh Walker, Rahman Sharpe, Fateema Sharpe, Kalilah Shape, Omar Sharpe, Nefateria Sharpe, and Rodrick Sharpe.
