MARY ANNE McDONELL's Obituary
Mary Anne McDonell (Hanson) 83, of Miami-Dade passed away on August 6, 2017 due to complications from cancer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel. Anne was born on January 5, 1934 and attended Miami Jackson High School. She married Jack McDonell. She retired from the City of Coral Gables where she made life-long friends. She was an active member of Wayside Baptist Church, where she was known for her kindness and tenacious spirit.
Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Jack and is survived by her sons, Chuck & Craig, her daughter-in-law, Anita, her grandchildren, David, Kim & Shelby, her grandson-in-law, Bobby, her great-granddaughters, Taylor & Kiley and additional family and friends-like-family too numerous to list. Anne loved nothing more than the Lord and spending time with her family. Anne's spirit and love is and will be so dearly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, Anne has requested that donations be made in her honor to "Wayside Baptist Church" to the reconstruction fund.
