MARVIN JENKINS's Obituary
Marvin Jenkins, 78, of Miami, Florida joined his Savior Jesus Christ on November 23, 2016.
He was born in Miami, Florida on February 24, 1938 to Charles and Rosa Jenkins.  He was one of eleven siblings.  He was married on September 8, 1957 to Barbara Barnwell.
Marvin was an accomplished Carpenter, Tradesman and General Contractor. He retired in February 2007, after more than 50 years in the Construction Industry.
He taught himself how to play guitar and loved to get his family together to play and sing. His other interest that started in his early days was the love of racing. He enjoyed working on stock cars as well as racing them and spent time racing at Hialeah Speedway. Marvin’s faith was always strong and he spent many days of the last few years working on projects for his church.
Marvin is survived by Barbara, his wife of 59 years, as well as his 3 children: James (Jim) Alex Jenkins and his wife Nancy, Donna Lynn Lesley and her husband Steven, Kimberly Ann Gregson and her husband Rich.
Also survived by his 7 grandchildren : Jennifer Lynn Jenkins Oister and her husband Pat, Cherilynn Amanda Jenkins Miles and her husband Steve, Michael Ryan Piazza and his wife Keri, Alex Gregory Piazza and his wife Erin, Lauren Faith Lesley, Sean Elliott Lesley and Kimberly Ann McKnight and David
And 10 great grandchildren: William Patrick Oister, Mackenzie Lynn Oister, Benjamin James Oister, Savannah Paige Oister, Brooklyn Amanda Miles, Dylan Thomas Miles, Brianna Kathleen McKnight, Matilyn Kathleen McKnight, Riley Nicholas Piazza and Jacob Michael Piazza.
