Marlene Ankney's Obituary
ANKNEY, Marlene passed away at her home in Miami, Florida] on May 13, 2012 from cancer. Born on May 20, 1957 in Miami, Florida, she lived in Miami her whole life, but maintained a summer residence in Farwell, Michigan. She worked as a Police Dispatch Supervisor for the Miami-Dade Police Department, from 1982 until honorably retiring in 2008. Preceded in death by her father Francis Happl. She is survived by her husband Michael, two sons Jason and Ryan, her mother Jacqueline, brother James, sisters-in-laws Shari Happl, daughter -in -law, Veronica Ankney, three grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 15 from 6:00pm -10:00pm at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Wednesday May 16, at 10:00am at St. Timothy Catholic Church 5300 S.W. 102 Avenue.
