I am as well very sorry to receive this news and was also a surf buddy. Mickey had sent me an email with his pic and he looked great....he's with God now, but I will miss him...surf on my brother.

I'm sorry to hear this news very sorry! Mark was my best friend. 👌 I met him in the 9th grade at maitland junior high 🏄 we were surf buddies. He moved to Tennessee and then came back for a trip to Eluthra with me. We took our boards, bikes and attitudes to the islands. 🌊💫☝️Enjoyed an awesome week on scooters, surf and exploring. We had just reconnected on FB and we were to meet up next trip to winter park 🙏🙏

Dad, you are certainly one of a kind. I know that life took you to bad places and we can't take back all the lost time. But I wish so badly I could get back this last week and say goodbye. I always enjoyed when you would stop by mom's just to say hi. I won't forget all the hours spent on her porch talking and laughing together. I won't forget the times you took me fishing, surfing, cooked good and bad meals :-) You always have and always will hold a very special place in my heart. Just wish I could have told you. I will miss you everyday, even more now that I know you won't be stopping by randomly. I'm thankful you are not in pain anymore, but it still hurts. I love you.
