Marjorie Smith (nee Rothenberg), 88, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, in Miami, FL. She was born in Washington, D.C., and lived all over the U.S., including Puerto Rico. She was pre-deceased by her ex-husband, Martin Smith, husband James Smith, and companion John Ford, and by her brother and sister-in-law, Allan Rothenberg (Doris). She is survived by her two daughters Kathleen Smith Zorn (Peter, deceased) and Wendy Smith Soltoff (Stephen), grandsons Benjamin and Alexander Soltoff, nieces Bobbie Catlett and Casey Scopelliti, and nephew Kevan Rothenberg. A private family funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, at the Van Orsdel Funeral Home in Coral Gables, FL. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Planned Parenthood.
