MARION "CHICKY" EFANTIS's Obituary
EFANTIS, Marion (Cicalese) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 10, 2015 at age 85. Marion was born in Newark NJ and moved to South Florida in 1948 where she met the love of her life, John Costa Efantis, who predeceased her in 2011. They were married on February 14, 1953 in St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral and together raised two daughters, JoNell Efantis Potter and Donna Efantis Wareham. She was the loving mother-in-law of George (Jay) and Michael and the proud grandmother of Kathryn, Wylie, George and Travis. Marion is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Philomena Cicalese and her loving brother, Joseph. Visiting hours, including Trisagion Service, for family and friends on Wednesday, May 13, from 7-9pm at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL. Services will be on Thursday, May 14, at 1pm in St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion's memory may be made to St, Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Miami, FL.
