Obituary
Mario A. Carrasco
1961-2021
Mario was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He graduated from Colegio America (Callao High School) in 1978. He then moved to the United States to pursue his college education, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Tech University (Cookeville, Tennessee).
In 1997, he joined Glenn Hamilton at Amerimet, as Vice President of Sales. His tireless pursuit of customer satisfaction led to exponential growth in sales and profits for the company.
Mario will be warmly remembered as a “family man” and the “fun guy.” He was generous with his time and resources. With his never-serious and playful demeanor, he ensured a great time at gatherings with family and friends. He will always be remembered for making everyone feel happy and welcomed. Mario will be sorely missed for the fun times he provided.
He is survived by his parents: Carlos and Oirda Carrasco; his children: Stella Maris Carrasco, José (Tuto) Rodriguez, Monique Rodriguez, and Lía Rodriguez; his siblings: Ruth Hamilton (Glenn) and Carlos F. Carrasco (Ruth); and his nephews: Brian Hamilton, Josué Carrasco, and Raquel Carrasco
