Marilyn Kutrip's Obituary
Marilyn Joan Kutrip passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the age of 84. Devoted wife to her husband Walter; beloved mother to her children Lisa and Stephen; loving grandmother to Delaney, Caelen and Darcy. She was the cherished twin sister of Marlene Daube, aunt to Susan Knight, Michelle Jackson and Karen Daube and a dear friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and by her parents Marian and Nicholas Marinaro.
Marilyn graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland and later earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. She worked as registered nurse and assistant nurse manager for more than 35 years at Baptist Hospital, in Miami Florida where she provided excellent care, mentored new nurses and built long lasting friendships with many of her coworkers.
Over the years, she loved and cared for a countless number of stray cats – most of whom went on to become members of the Kutrip family.
