Dear Tommins & Beau you were so lucky to have such a wonderful mother. Aunt Betty was a very special person as I'm sure you already knew. She was always so patient and kind whenever I was able to be around her. Unfortunately time and distance did not allow for much of that.Forever etched in my memory are those great times and my special Florida cousins. Hopefully we can see you and your families again sometime soon. When I think of what it means to be a true Southern lady, I always think of dear Aunt Betty. She was seemingly delicate, but had great strength which became apparent when Tom & Beau came along! She was the epitome of charm, grace & poise, and possessed a great sense of humor. One major regret is that distance prevented us from having more visits. When I think of Aunt Betty, the memories are of a serene lady who always showed a calm demeanor and patience, no matter what the situation.

Uncle Carr and Aunt Betty have a special place in my heart for the wonderful memories that I have of them from early childhood. I don't think of one of them without thinking of the other.

Aunt Betty was married to our father's older brother, Carr. They were a wonderful couple and a great aunt and uncle to their nieces. They were very generous and thoughtful. We did not get to see them often as we live in VA. But, when we visited them or vice versa, there was always a lot of love and great family times.
