Marie Nicole Julme's Obituary
Marie Nicole Julme passed away at home in Coral Springs, FL on July 26, 2023. Nicole was born on May 22, 1951 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In August, 1968, she left Haiti and moved to what would become her favorite place, New York City, on September 1st, 1971.
She reluctantly learned English, started college, and went to work. In 1971, she met Paul Julme, whom she had known as a child. They decided to marry in 1974. They had two daughters, Cassandra Julme Dahlan and Thalia Julme. Nicole was dedicated to her children and her husband and also built a successful career in NYC Government. Nicole valued her faith, family, friends, and education above all else. Nicole and Paul built a loving stable home for their children.
In 2004, Nicole and Paul moved to Coral Springs, FL to retire. After so many years of hard work, they were able to travel, enjoy their life together, and see all their friends and family in South Florida.
Nicole welcomed her first grandchild, Chloe Dahlan, in 2008, and her second, Julien Fisher, in 2021. Nicole was an affectionate grandmother who wanted nothing more than to watch and love her grandchildren.
Nicole was a caring, dedicated, and supportive person who will be eternally missed by her family. She is survived by her daughters Cassandra and Thalia, her grandchildren Chloe and Julien, her son-in-law Ben, her sisters, Jocelyne Josaphat and Yanick Josaphat, her mother-in-law Anne Marie Julme, her brother-in-law Henry Julme, her sisters-in-law Nadia Julme, Danielle Julme, Jessie Julme Rigaud, Mirna Julme, and Marie Jose Julme, and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul.
