MARIA SOTIRIOU's Obituary
Maria Sotiriou, 97, of Miami, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 28th. She was born on the beautiful island of Crete, Greece in 1927. Maria came to America as a seamstress and become an entrepreneur opening Maria’s Greek Restaurant in 1982. She was an active member of her Greek community.
Maria was survived by her daughter, Angela Albanis, and twin granddaughters, Katerina Albanis (husband Nikos Theodorou) and María Albanis (husband Costas Grillas) and great grandchildren, Athanasios and Angelica Grillas and Petros and Konstantinos Theodorou.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 AM, February 1st at Saint Sophia Cathedral 2401 SW 3rd Ave. Miami, FL 33129.
