Maria Davila de Fuentes passed away on August 1, 2017, surrounded by loving family, at the age of 91. She was wife to Antonio Fuentes (predeceased); mother to Maria Eugenia, Antonio, and Ileana; and grandmother to Carli, Daniel, Gabriel, Audrey, and David.
Maria overcame tremendous obstacles daily. She battled the loss of her beloved husband to cancer in 1989, her own cancer in 1997, and various other ailments with a sense of determination that is nothing short of incredible. It was her Christian faith and love of the written word of God that helped overcome these obstacles. She prayed and read the bible daily even when her sight was failing.
May she Rest In Peace and remain forever in the hearts and minds of the people whose lives she touched.
