Micki has and will always remain a cherrished impression on my heart. On my first encounter with her, she pegged me just right by calling me a "snot nosed little brat". Then, she carringly took me under her wing recognizing that I was yet another under privelaged child who just needed to be shown kindness. She and Grandma Rose together far exceeded the "extra mile" as they would take me school clothes shopping and whatever didnt fit, they hemed or darted to make fit. On my sweet 16th birthday,having invited nearly 30 of "my school friends, the two of them showed up when no one else did and they drove across town to be there. I regret not staying in touch and only to find I am two months too late to say THANK YOU Micki and Rose for the impact you made on my life when, how and why you did. I am blessed to have met you.
