Margie "Marty" Pardo's Obituary
MARGIE “Marty” PARDO
I lost my “best friend” the other night. After 55+ years of love, respect and reverence, the Lord decided to take her away. It seems like only “yesterday”, that I met the “Angel of my life”. I was blessed with her presence and “gifted” with her unconditional love and affection!
She honored me with 50 years of marriage with unconditional love! Every single day of those years, she always welcomed me home with open arms.
She taught me how to “love”, how to care and how to share, how to give back to others! The most positive human being that I have ever met in my life.
She made my “world” complete. We were like “eagles”. We “mated” for life!
It is time to share these thoughts with all our friends and family. The picture I have attached will be how I will always remember her!
The only other person she loved more than me was her father and I always respected that.
As I complete the rest of my life, I will always be thankful, grateful and honored that Marty shared her unconditional love with me.
She left us too soon! May she rest in peace, and I reminded her before she “left” this world, to save a place for me, so I could be with her once again when it is my turn to go.
As per Marty’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held, instead, we will be holding a “Celebration of Life” in Key Largo, where her ashes will be “spread” at her favorite “fishing grounds”, Oceanside. (To be announced)
Cancer is an evil disease! We must find a cure for this. We are sacrificing too many great people at the mercy of this disease.
We invite you to donate to any of the charitable Cancer organizations in her honor, in place of sending flowers.
We need to declare “war” on Cancer. That is our true “enemy”.
Amen.
