Manuel Machin's Obituary
Manuel Machin, aged 91, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Miami, Florida. Born in San
Jose De Las Lajas, Habana, Cuba. Manuel moved to the United States in 1967, seeking a
better future for his family.
A dedicated husband to his late wife Gladys for 65 years, Manuel was a beloved father,
grandfather, and a friend to many. He worked diligently, often holding multiple jobs to fulfill his
American dream, and was proud to have worked at the University of Miami for over three
decades. Manual's commitment to providing for his family was unwavering, and his efforts
greatly appreciated by those around him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children, Gladys Becquer and Manny Machin,
and his cherished grandchildren, Michael and Alexandra Machin. Manuel's legacy of hard work,
dedication, and love continues to live on through them and many extended family members who
will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a
organization close to Dad's heart and one he donated to for many years.
