LUZ S TUR's Obituary
Luz Tur, known as Lucy to her friends, passed peacefully away at home surrounded by
family and receiving lots of love. She went home to be with the Lord on August 22,
2022, at a wonderful age of 95: the beloved daughter of JoseTurt Alsina and Petra
Segarra Ramirez. Sister of Maria Eugenia Rodriguez, WilliamTurt, Laura Linderman,
Ubaldo Turt, Ana Matalon, Carmen Willmott and Wilfredo Turt. Lucy is predeceased by
her loving husband Carlos Ansoategui Bello of 68 years. Her loving legacy of children:
John (wife Maria), Carlos, Sherry and Rita (husband Roland). Proud grandmother of
Elisabeth (husband Axel), Daniel, Gabriel (wife Katie), Steven (wife Alia), Christopher,
Carlos Jr. (wife Tifani) and Steve: joyful great grandmother of Parker, Clark, Scarlett,
Matthew and Madison. Mom or Nana loved her family dearly and provided endless
support and love. She hosted many gatherings with friends and family and will always
be remembered as the head of the family. Too many special to list, please know that
she affectionately remembered and spoke often of nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends. Moving to Miami from New York in the 50’s she worked as a seamstress until
retirement. As stated, she often said her “life was well lived”. Mom / Nana, our love for
you is endless and you will always be missed until we are reunited in heaven.
The family would like to thank you for your expressed sympathy and condolences. We

Memorial Hospital, Blessed Trinity Church, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery and
Van Orsdel Funeral Services.
Family will receive friends on August 29, 2022, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Monday, at
Van Orsdel Funeral Services, 4600 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida. A memorial Christian
mass will be celebrated on August 30, 2022, Tuesday, 10:00 AM at Blessed Trinity
Catholic Church, 4020 Curtiss Parkway, Virginia Gardens, Florida. Interment will
follows at 11:30 AM, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th Street,
Doral, Florida. Van Orsdel Funeral Services is entrusted with the arrangements. Please
