LUIS ALDEMAR AGUIRRE's Obituary
Luis Aldemar Aguirre was born on January 10, 1956 in Bogota, Colombia. He arrived in the United States on March 23, 1968 and resided in Dover, New Jersey.
Luis graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in Fine Arts and Spanish. Later he completed a Master of Arts in World Languages.
Luis was employed at Southwest Miami High School where he taught TV Production and Spanish. His deep appreciation for all of his co-workers who supported him through his battle with cancer was enormous. He also loved the students of Southwest. They made him laugh and made his love for teaching such a pleasure.
Luis is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Aguirre; his mother, Alicia Aguirre; five sisters: Sonia Wans, Maria Aguirre, Janet Lewis, Esperanza Hiban and Veronica Garcia; Two brothers: Javier Aguirre and Giovanni Aguirre. He was lovingly called “Uncle Louie” by many nieces and nephews and their children: Hugo, Tammy, Regan, Norah, and Henry; Heber, Christine, Benjamin, Jack, and Maggie; Tatiana, Kevin and Isla; Andrea, Andrew, Elizabeth, Andrew, Anela, and Abby; Jennifer, and Nadia; Bashalee, Sebastian, and Milannah; Caitlin, Lemlem, Keenan, and Abraham; Jacob and David; and Olivia. He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Louie had many hobbies, his favorites were photography and videography. He loved playing the accordion and during his free time, he would play for his family whether they wanted to hear it or not. He was a skilled artist with an incredible talent. Louie was a carpenter, a trade he learned from his father and his uncle (Tio Mario).
Louie loved his family and his loyalty contributed to the tight knit family that exists today. Most importantly, Louie was loyal to his Heavenly Father. He valued the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He would like us all to remember that this life is momentary and that there is a mansion reserved in heaven for each one of us.
We will miss him here, but we rejoice that he is now in the presence of Our Heavenly Father; and can only imagine the reunion with his dad, Tomas; his brother, Fernando and his niece Jade.
