LOUIS M SARSICH's Obituary
Mr. Louis M. Sarsich, born on May 21, 1925 in Brooklyn, New
York, passed away at age 92 on May 1st, 2018 in Miami,
Florida. Louis served as an aviation mechanic in the United
States Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946 in World War II. He also dedicated his career to being a City of Miami Fire Fighter until he retired in 1979. He was a member and
historian of the American Legion, post 98, until 2010.
Louis was the loving husband of the late Mary Hartley, the
mother of his five children, with whom he was married for 54
years. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Bobby.
Louis is survived by his sons, Eddy and Johnny; daughters,
Patricia and Theresa; and grandchildren, Heather, Amber,
Kelly, Erica, Matthew, and Meghan; and great grandsons,
Chase, Logan, Dayton, Declan and Jackson. Louis had a
passion for spending time with his children and thoroughly
enjoyed his six grand-children, always following them around
taking their pictures.
