ALSPAUGH, Loretta "Ann" Bender, age 86, daughter of the late Guy J. and Ruby C. Anderson Bender, was born in Delray Beach, FL on May 30, 1925. She passed away at her home in Miami, FL on May 22, 2012. Loving wife of the late Melvin LeRoy Alspaugh, Jr. (1988) for 43 years. Mother of Loretta Ann "Letz" Farmer (2003) (Frank); Linda Marie Rumsey (Marvin); and Michael Lawrence "Larry" Alspaugh (Helen). Grandmother of Laura K. Farmer, Seth J. Rumsey and Kristin N. Alspaugh. Surviving sister Ormarell J. Gilbert and brother Guy D. Bender. Predeceased by brother George Bender and sister Devota Walsh Hoover. She will be missed by all who loved her including family and her many friends.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 26, 11 am, Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery, 449 S.W. 4 Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33432. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
