Lillian Linda Baker's Obituary
BAKER, LILLIAN L., 68, of Miami, FL, passed away on Saturday May 1, 2010 at Hialeah Hospital as a result of Cancer. She was born in 1942 in Bay Shore, New York, and graduated with a Master's Degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Lillian thoroughly enjoyed her work as a talented high school science teacher, instructing various subjects including Biology and Anatomy. She began her career at Ausable Valley Central School, in Clintonville, NY where she retired, and then continued her passion for education at Gulliver Preparatory School in Coral Gables totaling 45 years of teaching. As a loving mother and sister she will be remembered by her appreciation for the good things in life and spending time with family. She is survived by her two sons; Jerry and his wife Tammy of Mooers Forks, NY, and Geoffrey of Valdez, AK, and her sister Patricia Litwin of Miami, FL., as well as dogs Lucy and JoJo. Friends and family will be gathering for a memorial service on Saturday June 5, 2010, 4:00 P.M. at the Van Orsdel Family Funeral Chapel at 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Kendall FL, 33176.
