Dear Elio and family: I have just learned of my brother's death. Thank you for being there for him during his final days. Larry was a force of nature and in his heart of hearts, I'm sure that he always tried to do the right thing...and like most of us, was not aways successful.
Being a very private man he did not share details of his health with us and did not always acknowledge our communications. Our branch of the family would be in your debt if you could share any details regarding events leading to his passing.
Perhaps he and your Mom are in a place where peace and comfort reigns and conflict and acrimony is not permitted. Your Mom tried, as only a good woman can, to smooth out the rough spots of their loved ones.
Sharon and I and our two sons Steve and Guy and granchildren, Nick and Jennifer and Dane wish you peace during this most difficult time.
Take care and treasure your family.....in the end we realize often too late that our family is all we have and can rely upon in life.
