Laura Maxine Lercerra
6/23/1918-5/31/2015
Moved on to heaven to be with her daughter Yvonne Garber, her granddaughter Laura Lancaster and her husband Chick “Poppy” Lercerra.
She always gave angel pins to remind us that there are angels among us, but she was truly the angel. She was a woman of love, kindness and compassion who was faithful in prayer & steadfast in love for her family and friends. No event was too big or small for her to bake from scratch pies, cakes & brownies that everyone devoured and diets ignored.
She made friends wherever she went and kept in touch with co-workers from Richards Dept. Store and Burdines until her health failed.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Lancaster, son James Vaughan, Grandchildren Craig Garber (Jodi), James Vaughan (Yvonne), Vicki Vaughan (Chancy) & Teresa Vaughan, 9 Great Grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
We will miss you always, in big and small ways every day.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, 1:00pm-3:00pm at Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel, 4600 SW 8 St.
