Kevin Goss' Obituary
Kevin Goss passed away living his dream of extreme sports in a motocross incident in south Florida on March 10, 2013. He is survived by his wife Sendi Hawk Goss, his son Kody Goss and daughter Shay Goss. His parents Russell and Patricia Goss, sister Sheree McDonald, brothers Terry , Scott and Corey Goss and his nephews and nieces Heather Gookin, Ryan Goss, Brittney, Sean, Chad McDonald and Jade Goss.
Kevin attended Arizona State University and worked as a contractor for Goss Construction and J&G Construction over the past 25 years. He had a passion for extreme sports and living life to its fullest utilizing every moment, of every day, to its fullest with a positive attitude in life.
Kevin began as a child, a little boy. A coach’s son----stubborn as a mule – who with years of guidance, love and nurturing, became the man. A man with burning passion for life and living. Enjoying all that it offered. Living by the mantra “you can sleep when you dead.” A man that his parents proudly called “son.” A man who lit the eye and sparked a fire in a woman who could not help but love him. She had to have him, forever. He had to have her, forever. They brought forth two beautiful children Kody and Shay. The man became the dad. Strength to do right…. morals to light the path…. love to warm the home. And from this man, this fine human being, came a family. A family with children. Children who say “yes sir” and “no mam” Children built with strong moral compasses. Children who share his same passion for enjoying all that life has to offer. Children with love for all people. In short, children who reflect all that is…..their father. Never has the transformation from child ……to man…..to dad been done so well. Kevin is the best illustration of what a son, a man, a husband and a dad should be. He will never be gone. Why? Because all that is him is still here. It’s reflected in all those he has touched. It’s in his family that knew him as a child. It’s in his friends that knew him as a man. But if you have doubt – look no farther than his children.
He taught us this, “It’s good to dream what you want to do…………but doing what you dream is what it’s all about. “ GO ON # 2… YOU JUST KEEP BEASTIN’ IT. We all know…. You really are the GOAT. Greatest Of All Time.
