Kevin Ryan Fernandez, age 35, Born January 9th , 1991 in Miami, Florida
Kevin was a kindred spirit who was a bright light to so many on his life’s journey. He
graduated from Miami Killian High School, Miami Dade College and Florida International University with a Master in Architecture. He loved the ocean, mountains and being outdoors. Going on hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains and swimming in the New River brought him great joy and peace.
Kevin was a consummate professional as an architect and entrusted with many
successful projects during his career. Along with his co-workers he received many local
and state awards for designing amazing projects. He was a cherished member of the
team at Contin Architecture and Design where he honed his craft.
Kevin was a bright beacon on the top of the hill that shone light on so many. He
tirelessly strove to help others find hope and serenity and was loved by everyone.
Kevin is survived by his father Fernando (Freddie) Fernandez Jr., his mother Maria
Victoria Fernandez, his loving older brother Shawn Michael Fernandez, many uncles,
aunts, cousins and dear friends. He will be missed but never forgotten.
