KENNETH W. SILK's Obituary
Silk, Kenneth,60, born March 21, 1953, passed away at home Saturday, June 22,2013, surrounded by loved ones. He handled this devasting lung cancer diagnosis bravely, admirably and with a remarkable concern for others. Ken was a letter carrier with BR1071 for 34 years. He was a huge UM Hurricane football fan, loved NASCAR and was the best fisherman I knew. He was predeceased by parents John and Pearl Silk, sister Audrey Fulcher. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years Linda and his daughter Nicole (Nikki), also his twin brother Keith (Carol) Silk, sisters, Geraldine (Joe) Blair, Judy (Bob) Hyman, Jackie Hinson and brother-in-law, Bob Flucher. Plus his in laws, Dee (David) Smith, Kenneth (April) Ruppert, Julie ( Jaime) Hinson, Brian Ruppert, father-in-law, Ronald Ruppert, plus 15 nieces, 5 nephews, 12 great-nieces and 11 great nephews, also Joan Murphy and family and lifelong friend Mike (Denise) Gill and family. "You're the twinkle in my eye, star in the sky, the beat of my heart, smile on my face, love of my life,you will be greatly missed. Memorial Service Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 1 PM to 6 PM. Donations to the March of Dimes.
