Naz was one of those rare coworkers who made the job feel less like work and more like two people pushing through the madness together. We’d complain, laugh, and navigate the chaos side by side, like we had our own unspoken rhythm for surviving tough calls.
He had a presence you couldn’t forget, that deep, unmistakable voice, that spark of humor he carried even on stressful days, and his incredible talent as an artist. He saw the world in a way most people never will, and you could feel that in everything he created. And even in the middle of his own struggles, he always found a way to show appreciation. He nominated me for a Gold Star once, and that moment stayed with me.
It hurts to know he’s gone. People like Naz leave a mark without even trying. They leave warmth, color, and memory behind. I’m grateful I got to know him, even for the time we had.
Rest in peace, Naz. Thank you for the laughter, the kindness, and the moments us at AMEX will never forget
-Love Nickz, forever your colleague 🙏🏽❤️
