Katherine "Katie" Elaine Clements, 31, born December 30, 1990, joined her father, Gary, in heaven on August 21, 2022. Survived by mother, Roxanne, sisters Kristin Yates, and Laura Clements, niece Abigail Yates, and nephew Jacob Yates, aunt Jolene Iredale, and uncle David Iredale.
Katie graduated Miami Sunset Senior High and studied criminal justice at Miami Dade College. She worked at Claire's becoming a store manager at age 21. Her father was a City of Miami Police Officer, and later a FedEx Security Manager. Four years ago she joined the Miami Dade Police Department as this was always her dream. She was part of the MDPD family as a Police Complaint Officer and served her community with pride while always extending kindness to people and animals alike.
