KAREEM ALEX ZAKHARIA's Obituary
Kareem Alex Zakharia passed away on October 22, 2018 from apparent heart attack. He was 45 years old. Born in Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated from Columbus High School, where he was an honor student and 4 years varsity tennis champion, captain and a tennis prodigy, since the age of 6. He was awarded Florida State Gold Medal, USTA Sportsmanship Awards and was a winner of 50 USTA trophies. He was Key Biscayne men's champion at the age of 16 and played national championship, Orange and Easter Ball and admitted to Notre Dame University and joined the varsity team.
As a certified real estate broker, he was known by his kindness, honesty and good character.
He is survived by his father Alex, his mother Andrea, sister Yara and brother Alex. The visitation will be held Wednesday November 7th at St George Cathedral in Coral Gables 6:30 pm until 7 pm service. The burial is on Thursday at 11 am at Woodlawn North Cemetery.
