Ka'sette Danyell Goins' Obituary
Ka’sette Danyell Goins, age 46, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and friends during the last days of his life. Ka'sette was born September 12, 1977, in Plainfield, New Jersey to Glen Lamont Goins and Bobbie Pettiford Goins.
Ka'sette was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Christine Pettiford.
Ka’sette is survived by his loving wife, Brittany; two sons, Fuerquan and Kaleb; and Godchildren (Mason, Myer and Madison). He is also survived by his mother, Bobbie; mother-in-law, Camelie Allen; father-in-law, Brent Allen; and his sister, Nisha Harden (Roderick); sisters-in-law, Janay Stephenson and Breona Allen; brother-in-law, Brent Allen,Jr; nieces, Janiah Smith, Alyssa Harden, Uriah Allen; best friends, Muhammad Ervin (Dai), Jamal Davis (Marianne), and Courtney Nero; his sisters-in-law, Godfather, Paul Keiran (Liz); and a host of lifelong friends.
Ka’sette was raised by his mother in Atlanta, Georgia, where at a young age, he gave his life to Christ at New Birth Missionary Baptist church and was involved in the choir as well as the youth department. In 2013 he decided to take his talents to Miami, Florida where he met his wife, Brittany, while they worked at the University of Miami. They married in Jamaica on January 5, 2020 and gave birth to their beautiful son, Kaleb in 2022.
Ka’sette lived a very full life enjoying some of his favorite things such as basketball, daily walks with his dogs, running the Peachtree Road Race, playing the guitar, and being with family and friends.
