JULIA A. COOK's Obituary
Julia A. Cook (known to most as Toni) was born on July 28, 1938 and passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2015, after her battle with Parkinson’s disease. Toni graduated from Coral Gables Senior High School and immediately went to work at FPL where she was employed for over 40 years. The last 18 of those years were spent working as secretary to the president of FPL. Toni was a loving, compassionate and caring person who was loved and cherished by everyone. Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Weilbacher and Agnes Sturrup. Toni is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Clark Cook, brother, Bob Weilbacher, nephew, Ken Weilbacher and his wife, Julie, and their son, Owen. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Gables Club, 10 Edgewater Drive, Coral Gables. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to WPBT2 in honor of Toni Cook.
