Dear Ron,
I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of Judy. I am so very sorry. This must be a very difficult time for you. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and my prayers.
Judy was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I will miss her helpful advice. I remember the time when I was helping with landscaping the butterfly garden in her backyard. Judy looked over the fence and couldn't stop laughing at me and the mess I had made. I had planted many Liriope all in the wrong place and had to start all over. I was becoming more and more frustrated with that project. But hearing her laughter made me realize that I was taking myself all too seriously and when I looked around, I couldn't help but laugh myself.
I'm sure you remember that day, Ron, when Judy came over to help me finish the garden and it took us until nightfall to do it! I'll never forget that time. Every time I look at the garden, I think of Judy. Now I think about how much I will miss her.
I know how much you will miss Judy, but you can take comfort and strength from the wonderful memories you and she had together. I know the Lord will get you through this difficult time. I would like to offer my help too. I can come over and help you with the yard work if you would like.
