JUDITH ANN STOWE's Obituary
IN MEMORIAM-JUDITH ANN GRENTNER STOWE
Judy Stowe passed away peacefully in her home on August 4, 2023.
Judy, a native of Miami, was born on October 15, 1939 at Jackson Memorial Hospital to John Grant Grentner and Emma Pauline Rentz Grentner. Judy graduated from Coral Gables High School in 1957 where she was President of Co-Eds, her service club. She graduated from Stetson University in 1961 and was a member of Phi Beta Phi Sorority. She met her husband, Larry B. Stowe, at Stetson and they married on August 5, 1961.
Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and she especially loved celebrating the 4th of July with her entire family at their Condo in Cape Canaveral. Her love of antiques and design led her to becoming an interior decorator. She was passionate about ballet and she served on the board of the Miami Ballet. She was a member of the altar guild at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and also served as the Wedding Coordinator there for a number of years. Judy loved traveling with Larry and they enjoyed numerous trips abroad. She especially enjoyed keeping in touch with her lifelong friends from elementary school and they called themselves the ”Ya Yas”.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Stowe, daughters, Sherry Stowe Turnipseed (Ken), Shelley Stowe Weymouth (James), Jennifer Stowe, and granddaughters Kendall Turnipseed, Allison Turnipseed, Lauren Little, and Elizabeth Weymouth.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life.
