JOSEPH T. MEYER's Obituary
Joseph T. Meyer, 86, of Miami, Florida, passed away on August 3, 2015.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 7, 1929, the youngest of ten children. After serving in the Army, he graduated from the University of Miami and the University of Miami Law School. He was married to Kristina (Stahl) Meyer in 1961.
Joe was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War, a renowned attorney in Miami, Florida, and a member of the University of Miami Alumni. He celebrated life and loved his family and friends. Over his lifetime he touched many people with his wonderful sense of humor, his zest for life and his always open door. His favorite activities included travel, golf, fishing and getting together with friends.
He is survived by his wife Kristina L. Meyer, two daughters Melanie Edmonds and Marianne Meyer, granddaughter Lumin Edmonds, sister June Christiansen of St. Louis, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel from 5:00pm -6:00 pm with a Celebration of Life service at 6:00 pm
