My father was a quiet, stoic man who showed his love through action more than words. He was incredibly handy — always working on cars, fixing things around the house, painting, and tending the yard — making sure everything was taken care of. Even when it became difficult for him physically, he kept going. That’s just who he was.
He was a hard worker his entire life. He didn’t have much money, but he gave me everything he could — including a private school education — because my future mattered to him. He loved his family deeply, especially my mom, Hada.
As his daughter, I saw his love in every freshly painted wall, every cared-for space, and every quiet effort he made to keep our home in shape. He may not have said much, but he showed up every day.
My father leaves behind a legacy of hard work, sacrifice, and unconditional love. I will carry that with me always.
