With deep love and sadness, the family of Jorge C. Murillo announces his passing on March 17, 2026, at the age of 97.
Jorge Murillo was a beloved and respected man by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Throughout his life, he was distinguished by his dedication to his family and his strong yet kind character. He was always willing to help, offer good advice, and share special moments with those he loved.
He was born in Manta, Manabí, Ecuador, and over the years he built a life filled with hard work, perseverance, and values that he proudly passed on as a legacy to his family. He greatly enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family, and talking with his friends.
To his children and grandchildren, he was an example of responsibility, love, and wisdom. His presence, his stories, and his affection will always remain in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Grace.
He is survived by his loving wife, Blanca Murillo; his children, Becky, Nancy, Cecilia, and Michael; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who are grateful to have shared so many years of love and cherished memories with him.
Services in his memory will be held on March 22, 2026, where family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate his life.
Although we feel his loss deeply today, his love and teachings will remain with us forever.
