John A. Steis' Obituary
STIES, John Anthony, 89, a Miami Resident for 52 years, was called to his eternal home March 11th.
Originally from Richmond Virginia, he worked for Phillip Morris and managed many Miami restaurants. In his younger days, he was a Golden Glove Champion and he kept his passion & involvement with boxing throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rose Posigian Sties, 3 grandchildren, Tony, Kenny, and Ronnie, 4 great- grand children and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, John Anthony Sties Jr.
Visitation 10 am until Service time 11 am Monday March 15th at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL. Interment will be immediately after at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77 Ave.
