John Franklin Swindal Jr.'s Obituary
SWINDAL, John Franklin, Jr. 81, died March 20, 2012. Born in Jacksonville, Fl., he is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Jean Brown Swindal, and predeceased by their son”Rick” in 2011. He is also survived by two sons, J.F. Swindal, III (Susan) and Kenneth O’Neal Swindal, daughter –in-law Sabine Swindal and two grandchildren, Thomas F. Swindal, Jr. and Kailey Ariel Swindal. Frank attended military schools and served in the U.S. Army in Alaska during the Korean War. His career was spent in the family business, Swindal Powell Co. , a wholesale furniture distributor of which he was Vice President when he retired. In compliance with his wishes, he was cremated and no services held. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
