Joaquin Cores' Obituary
CORES, JOAQUIN, born April 18, 1929 in Santa Eugenia de Ribeira, La Coruña, Spain passed away on December 26, 2011. He is survived by his beloved daughter Tina Cores, son Jose J. Cores and granddaughter Julie Cores. Joaquin Cores was a visionary, a man of industry that launched La Cibeles Inc. in 1962, one of the first companies to recognize and directly market to the increasing Hispanic population in the United States. He successfully started and ran various enterprises and import/ export businesses. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday in St. Patrick Church, 3716 Garden Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33140.
