JOANNE VAN SCHAICK's Obituary
Joanne Van Schaick, 83, beloved mother, devoted wife, and loving and constant friend to many, died on October 10 in Miami.
Originally from Malden, MA (she was known by many friends as Miss Malden), Joanne moved to South Florida in the mid 1950s and never left. She married her first husband, Albert Sandusky, in Key West during his Naval duty. She and the late Albert had two sons, Mark and Jay, who deeply grieve the loss of their sweet and compassionate mother.
Joanne later married Howard Van Schaick, whom she survived but never truly got over.
Joanne's son Mark has been tenderly cared for at Sunrise Community in South Dade since 1984.
