Jerry J. Marinelli's Obituary
Jerry J. Marinelli, 90, former revenue agent for the state of Florida and combat veteran of World War II, where he earned distinguished service, landed on the shores of Normandy, and served in major battles including the Battle of the Bulge. Jerry passed away peacefully on February 12, 2014 after a long illness. Formerly of Atlantic City, NJ where he worked in the construction industry and was past president of the Lion’s Club and a member of the American Legion. Jerry moved to Miami in 1969 and is pre-deceased by his loving wife Rose and survived by his sons Frederick H. (Carmen) Marinelli and Jerry Marinelli, grandchildren, Melissa (Daniel) Izquierdo, Michael F. (Irene) Marinelli, Katryna (Nathan) Marks, J.J. (Christina) Marinelli, great grandchildren Anthony and Liliana, along with other family and friends. Services will be held in Atlantic City, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in his name at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
