JENNIFER ROBINSON's Obituary
In loving memory of Jennifer Shelley Robinson, born on October 21 st , 1968 in Coral
Gables, Florida. She passed away on May 6 th , 2024 peacefully, surrounded by her loved
ones. Jennifer graduated from Palmetto High school in Miami in 1986 and went on to
earn both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Miami. She was
a life long Hurricanes fan. Jennifer married the love of her life, Micheal T. Robinson, and
together they had two wonderful daughters, who were the lights of her life, Shelley Ann
and Madelyn Marie. Jennifer had a long and successful career in health care auditing
and human resource management, and loved her work. She was the most kind and
caring soul, who loved people which made her work and personal life very easy for her.
She always had a smile on her beautiful face and would make the best of every
situation. Her warm and caring personality touched the lives of so many people. She
always seemed to make connections with people everywhere she went, which is a
testament to her character as people are what meant the most to her in life. Jen’s
greatest love in her life was her family. She shared countless stories about growing up
with her brother and cousins, spending time with her parents, grandparents, aunts, and
uncles at family reunions and on the family houseboat. Her main goal in life was to
make other people happy, as evidenced by her random acts of kindness, her love of
delivering home baked goods to others, creating scrapbook memories, and taking daily
selfies. She went above and beyond every holiday, but mostly Christmas and birthdays,
to add that extra special touch to make to everyone’s day more memorable. As a Miami
native she loved being outside including going on her boat, water skiing, walking her
dog in the park, countless trips to Disney world, eating delicious stone crabs every
season, collecting seashells, and watching the sunsets in her happy place at Marco
Island. She is survived by her husband Micheal, her daughters Shelley and Maddie, her
parents Susan and Robert Shelley, her brother Robert (Jud), and her furry friend
Maverick. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Andrews’s Episcopal Church,
located at 14260 Old Cutler Road, Miami, Florida, 33158, on Saturday the 18 th of May,
2024 at 11 am with a reception to follow in the church hall. Her husband and daughters
ask that you wear something that makes you feel comfortable and bring you joy as that
is what she would want. The family has set up for donations to be collected to the Triple
Negative Breast Cancer Foundation in hopes that one day a cure could be found. The
